WHAT IS THE ONE THING THAT YOU DO, THAT HELPS YOU BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE?
To pick one thing … what a great question. Apart from the obvious: healthy nourishment, regular training, being committed, disciplined, being honest and true to my values and my passion.
The one thing, hands down would have to be listening to my body aka self-care. If I don’t listen to my body’s needs (like I have in the past) it does not end well. Being a coach I am in the game of changing lives and helping people realise how bloody amazing they really are! If my game is not 100% … how can I help others?
A beautiful soul once told me:
To fill up other peoples cup, your cup first, must be overflowing.
I listen and care for my body daily. I always check in and understand how it needs to be nourished. What daily movement is best? Do I move to become stronger? Or does my body need to be stretched and relaxed? I practice yoga to calm my mind, I am early to bed, early to rise and stay hydrated – always.
Conclusion: The one thing I do that helps me be the best I can be, is daily self-care, my wellbeing is my first priority, from there I can help others flourish.
