WHAT IS THE ONE THING THAT YOU DO, THAT HELPS YOU BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE?
Helping others is what helps me be a better version of myself. A lot of my work is done in the poorest parts of the world, and when I’m in the field sharing moments and smiles, knowing that my work is paying off, that is when I am happiest.
Playing sports and keeping active is also extremely fulfilling. Indoor cycling has always been a fun escape for me and has allowed me to meet some wonderful like-minded friends and individuals. More recently, Yoga has taken me to some amazing places where the sun shines and the sea is warm, and has taught me about the importance of patience and self-control.
A friend once told me I needed to:
become friends with people who aren’t my age; hang out with people whose first language isn’t mine and; get to know someone who isn’t from my same social class
because this is how we see the world, this is how we grow. And this is exactly how I am trying to live my life.
