WHAT IS THE ONE THING THAT YOU DO, THAT HELPS YOU BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE?
The keys, I think, to becoming the best version of you are to fall in love with failure and to listen. Our modern life is busy; it’s chaotic; it’s loud. It expands to fill any space you allow it to. And, above all else, it’s results-oriented. Which makes it incredibly difficult to improve. Because direction happens most often in still, quiet, numinous moments — and if you aren’t listening for those moments, you’ll miss it. And improvement happens through failure — and if you aren’t falling in love with the fact that failure means you’re trying something you don’t yet know how to do, then you’ll miss that too. Listen. And fall in love with failing.
