WHAT IS THE ONE THING THAT YOU DO, THAT HELPS YOU BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE?
To me, it’s about allowing myself to dream big and design my ‘self’ and my life without limitation of my current reality and circumstances. It’s having the courage to persist in undertaking the Heroes Journey.
Being the best I can be, is living in alignment with my greatest potential in my Higher-Self and living predominantly from this state of being (love) as opposed to living from Ego (fear and limitation).
There are many Mindfulness tools that I’ve learned to help me do this but the most powerful one is being able to tap into my intuition and trust it. We all have intuition and inner wisdom but most of us have stopped listening to it through our social conditioning and just rely on our logic (past experience) to create our future.
The next key step after listening to my intuition is holding a vision of what I would love and following through on it being guided by my inner wisdom.
It took me a long time to understand that being the best I can be and living my potential is really that – a state of ‘being’ not ‘doing’. It’s all an internal process, which as a result creates a natural external shift in life.
When we focus on the ‘grind’ and working hard to make our external world look like we are living our dream we always miss the essence of living our true potential, which is where satisfaction and joy exist.
In Australia we aren’t suffering from not having enough material things or opportunities, we are experiencing a ‘meaning’ crisis from lack of self-awareness of our internal world and this is causing an epidemic of anxiety and depression.
I believe that living your best life is an inside job – despite what society is selling you on Instagram! I help people do this from the inside out through mindfulness and self-awareness and coach them towards achieving their true goals and creating a meaningful life they love.
