WHAT IS THE ONE THING THAT YOU DO, THAT HELPS YOU BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE?
For me, I use a bit of self talk. When I’m finding something difficult (for example cardio, getting through a work day, doing chores) I say to myself “Think of how proud you will be when you finish” and that’s how I keep going. I think of the end result and how PROUD I want to make myself, and feel. Sometimes we don’t feel like doing things, sometimes effort is very difficult, so we have to be our own motivation. Knowing that I will feel like I’ve done something good, for someone else or for myself, is motivation for me. Being a better you everyday can be any sort of effort. Even if you are only making tiny, gradual moves to achieve something, it’s still better than yesterday. If you do one thing to be kinder, happier, stronger, cleaner, funnier, ANYTHING, each day then you are bettering the person you were.
