WHAT IS THE ONE THING THAT YOU DO, THAT HELPS YOU BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE?
One of the things I’ve been doing lately to be the best I can be is trying to be in the NOW. Trying to live in the present. I think most of us are used to being controlled by our thoughts. We are constantly thinking. Thinking about how and when I have to finish that work project or being ready for the next office meeting, maybe stressed out about the kids, school or concerned about a sick parent, how to pay our bills, how to make more money etc etc. We are so emerged in our own thoughts that we forget that all we really have is NOW.
The past is gone, the future is not here yet, so why waste precious time disconnecting with moments we really have maybe with ourselves, maybe family, your significant other etc etc.
So in my opinion, living in the moment is a very simple philosophy of life that indeed requires practice. So let’s try next time during your day when you catch yourself thinking, just stop and connect at a conscious level with whatever it is you’re doing and see how good it feels.
Remember yesterday is gone, tomorrow is yet to come, all you really have is NOW so let’s enjoy!!!
