WHAT IS THE ONE THING THAT YOU DO, THAT HELPS YOU BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE?
When it comes to progression, I can be quite hard on myself. Like a lot of people, I am competitive in many ways. The good side of this is that I am always striving for improvement and to seek betterment in the daily tasks that I perform. The downside is that sometimes you forget to look back and see how far you’ve come.
Whether it’s physically writing it down or mentally sitting and taking 5 minutes to reflect on your day, coming up with a small list of your positive achievements for that day both within your work, personal and training life is a great way to keep the mindset healthy.
I’ve found that that when you focus on simply the things that could be better, you’ll end up in a perpetual downward cycle where nothing is ever good enough.
